Decision's decisions...

So I'm thinking of moving into AO3, just because it offers to PDF, MOBI, (etc, etc,) stories for me, but I don't know if I want to maintain stories here and on ff.net and on AO3.

I usually upload my stuff to ff.net because it strips everything but the most basic code from it (all that crap Word adds for borders and colours, and font, etc) which makes it really easy in LJ. But, as amberdreams recently discovered ff.net has some flaws. If her innocuous little drabble (with hints of male dangly bits) has been banned as violating the rating, what chance has a story like "New World Man" with it's explicit f/m/f action, or "Making It Work" which is nothing more than a pornographic hallucination masquerading as a life/world saving, fix-it plot?

On the other hand, I have a couple dozen stories equaling nearly a million words over on ff.net, and I'm not sure I want to take them down.

So the question becomes, is joining AO3 worth it as an author? How easy is it to upload and link documents? Is it like LJ with its disagreeable amalgam of rich text and html that always requires fiddling? Or do I just upload and watch it shine?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone?

Bueller?... Bueller?
